The best thing about these places, where you are served solely by the owner himself, is that you can enjoy double espresso even without sugar or milk on its own. Is this the best Italian coffee in Liverpool? Located at the bottom of metquarter galleria. Legend has it that the shop moved to premises after Costa and Starbucks during competition in Metquarter galleria. They all closed down, so Dantonios eventually took over the premises himself. And that's how you deal with chains, corporations, and franchises that dominated the markets.

Coffee is amazing, best coffee in Liverpool. Service is very friendly, but the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I never know when it's open or not. Last 5 times I tried to get a coffee it was closed even though on Google said it was open ):

I love coming to Caffeteria Dantonio for lunch when I am visiting Liverpool for work. It is a little slice of Italy located inside the upmarket Met Quarter. The Pannini's are authentically simple and the coffee is the best in Liverpool, in my opinion. Antonio is always friendly, and you can purchase your very own "Ciao Lad" coffee cup, a must for the discerning Scouse Italian.
